CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS! Multicultural Co-Learning Student Exchange Program @ Malaysia DOJOSponsored by SMBC Group

2025.12.02

This program is jointly organized by the University of Tsukuba, its CiC partner university, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and the Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMBC Group). It provides students with the opportunity to work alongside peers from overseas, conducting field research and data analysis while developing practical solutions to real-world social challenges.

Focusing on Malaysia’s tropical humid region, the program explores one of today’s most pressing global issues—water resources and the water environment. Participants will also examine the relationships between water issues, the natural environment, human activities, and local culture through field-based learning.

Students in the College of Geoscience can earn credit through Hydrological Science Field Experiment (EE22353), while students from other colleges may receive credit through Problem-Solving Practicum through Multicultural Co-Learning (Overseas) B (8331183).
