Social Impact Kick-off Symposium Announcement

University of Tsukuba will host a Kick-off Symposium about the MEXT’s University Education Revitalization Strategy Promotion Fund University Internationalization for Social Impact Creation Support Program this March. Other selected universities, companies, NPOs, and local governments will join this event.
The “Support Project for Creating Social Impact through University Internationalization” is a project launched this year by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology to promote further internationalization of universities through the establishment of a system for international co-learning both domestically and overseas, sending Japanese students to study abroad, and create a virtuous cycle in which excellent international students are accepted and retained.
To commemorate the launch of the project and to further expand the efforts of each university and collaboration between universities, we will be holding a kick-off symposium. It will be on March 14, 2025 (Friday), 13:30-17:00 at Toranomon Hills Forum (Toranomon Hills Mori Tower 5F, 1-23-3 Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo)
