Join a multicultural co-learning program in Tsukuba this summer!

This summer, why not take part in a multicultural co-learning experience in Tsukuba?

Work together with students from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan—one of the University of Tsukuba’s CiC partner universities—to explore biotechnology, including genetically modified crops and microbial applications, and discuss its role in food security and regional economic development. Together, you will develop practical proposals that could be be implemented in both Japan and Taiwan.

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate and graduate students in science-related fields.
  • Students interested in Japanese agricultural issues and biotechnology.
  • Students of all experience levels are welcome, from beginners to those with prior knowledge.

Number of Participants: Approximately 10 students

Program Dates: August 3 (Mon) – August 8 (Sat), 2026
