Migrants who move across borders for various reasons: A participatory art program for community building
We have invited contemporary artist Jun Kitazawa as our overseas visiting instructor to conduct an art workshop. Drawing on his experience living in Indonesia, we will hold a unique participatory program at the Mori Art Museum (Roppongi, Tokyo) in which students from both countries will come together to incorporate each other’s cultures. We hope to connect Japan and Indonesia through art activities and explore the possibilities of building a community that transcends cultures.
