Kickoff Meeting for Participants of Daigo Town GASSHUKU (Scheduled for Early July)
2025.6.11
Multicultural collaborative learning activities within Japan are expected to increase even further! Today, we held an introductory meeting for “GASSHUKU in Daigo Town” (scheduled for early July), a program aimed at addressing social issues in Daigo Town through collaboration among students. The participants are mainly international and Japanese students from the Bachelor’s Program in Global Issues (BPGI) at the University of Tsukuba. However, the program was open to all students across the university, and students from various undergraduate schools and master’s programs have also been selected to participate. At the end of this month, as part of the pre-program study, we will invite a guest speaker from Daigo Town to give a lecture on the social issues the town is currently facing.

During the introductory meeting, an overview of the program was presented, and an icebreaking activity was conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
