China University of Geosciences
The China University of Geosciences, Beijing (CUGB) is a national key university directly administered by the Ministry of Education of China. As a research-oriented university, it specializes in geology, natural resources, and environmental sciences while also offering a broad range of disciplines in science, engineering, humanities, economics, law, and management. Founded in 1952 as the Beijing Institute of Geology, CUGB has a long history and strong expertise in geosciences.
Today, geology and geological resources and geological engineering are recognized as national “Double First-Class” disciplines, and the university has earned international recognition for its research in geosciences and related fields. CUGB also actively promotes international collaboration with universities and research institutions worldwide, particularly in the areas of geoscience, natural resources, and environmental research.
