MULTICULTURAL CO-LEARNING MEISTER SYSTEM
The project integrates an Open Badge System, allowing students to earn digital credentials as they engage in Social Impact projects. These badges securely store and verify students’ skills, achievements, and competencies, containing metadata such as the issuer, criteria, and date earned. They can be shared online via LinkedIn, resumes, and e-portfolios.
Internally, these credentials can be used for on-campus selection for scholarships, hiring, and grants. In the future, we aim to establish globally recognized, portable credentials to enhance student employability. The system also promotes lifelong learning by recognizing both formal and informal experiences, including coursework, extracurricular activities, and mentoring junior students.
The system will implement a web-based academic record tracking system that will serve as a history of students’ accomplishments, programs abroad (DOJO, long-term study) , career development (overseas employment, start-up), and mentoring experiences.
