Speak, Share, Connect: Global Events at Student Commons（Multilingual Chat, 留学相談）

On Friday, June 13th, Multilingual Chat event was held at the Student Commons. As part of the event, participants were divided into groups based on different languages—Spanish, French, Arabic, English, and Japanese. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, they enjoyed conversations in their chosen languages, sharing experiences about daily life and their own cultural backgrounds.
The chat event does not require a reservation. Just head to the Student Commons, scan your student ID at the reception, and join in casually. After participating 10 times, you can choose one item from a variety of special SSC goods as a novelty gift. Today, a participant attending for the 10th time selected an exclusive SSC tote bag. It seems that many participants are repeat attendees. If you’re interested in interacting with international students on campus, feel free to join—everyone is welcome!
Student Support Center at the University of Tsukuba also hosts a variety of other events throughout the year. Take this opportunity to enjoy and make the most of our culturally diverse campus!
