７月３０日に第３回目グローバルスタートアッパーセミナーを開催しました。グローバルスタートアップセミナーは、広い視野を持ち、国内外で活躍できる人材の育成を目的に、今年度ソーシャルインパクト推進室が新たに立ち上げたプログラムです。今回は、人間学類との連携により、より実践的かつ多角的な学びを提供するコラボレーションイベントとして開催されました。今回は、本学人間学類の卒業生で、現在フランスのパリ、ユネスコ 国際教育計画研究所 技術協力部で部長としてご活躍されている水野谷優氏をお招きし、「国境なきキャリア～世界に飛び出す勇気を持とう～」というタイトルでセミナーを実施しました。セッション1では、水野谷氏が筑波大学での学生時代に得た経験や、青年海外協力隊での実践、そして現在に至るまでの国際キャリアの歩みについて語っていただきました。セッション2では、ご専門である障害教育を軸に、世界各地の教育現場の事例を交えながら、グローバルな視点での教育の在り方について深い示唆をいただきました。セミナーには学生を中心に40名以上が参加し、質疑応答の時間には活発な意見交換が行われました。今回のセミナーの参加者には、後日JV-Campusを通してオープンバッジ（パープルバッジ）が付与されます。
On July 30, the third Global Startupper Seminar was held. The Global Startupper Seminar is a new program launched this academic year by the Social Impact Promotion Office to cultivate students with a broad perspective who can thrive both in Japan and internationally. This session was organized as a collaborative event with the Institute of Human Sciences, offering more practical and comprehensive learning opportunities.
For this seminar, we welcomed Mr. Yu Mizunoya, a graduate of the College of Human Sciences at the University of Tsukuba and currently serving as Director of the Technical Cooperation Division at UNESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) in Paris, France. The seminar, titled “Careers Without Borders – Have the Courage to Go Global!,” was delivered in two sessions.
In Session 1, Dr. Mizunoya spoke about his experiences as a student at the University of Tsukuba, his work with the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV), and the journey that led him to his current international career. Session 2 focused on his field of expertise—education for persons with disabilities—where he provided insightful perspectives on the global landscape of inclusive education, introducing case studies from around the world.
The seminar was attended by over 40 participants, mainly students, and the Q&A session featured lively and engaging discussions. All participants will be awarded a Purple Open Badge via JV-Campus at a later date.
