We’re excited to announce that the official designs for the open badges awarded through the Social Impact Promotion Project have been finalized!
This project offers a wide range of opportunities. To make sure students can keep a record of their participation and use it in the future—for job hunting, study abroad, or other purposes—we will issue open badges via the JV-Campus platform.

Each badge represents a different stage of your engagement:
- RUN-UP Stage (activities held on campus): Purple Badge
- HOP Stage (multicultural collaboration within Japan): Silver Badge
- STEP Stage (multicultural collaboration abroad): Gold Badge
- JUMP Stage (advanced social contribution projects): Platinum Badge
Students who complete activities at each level will receive the corresponding badge through their personal page on JV-Campus.
Activities at the HOP and STEP levels, which involve working with people from different cultural backgrounds in Japan and overseas, are especially designed to help students build four core global competencies. These programs use problem-based learning (PBL) and go through careful screening to ensure high quality. We will continue to offer many well-structured, certified programs in the future.
