National Chung Hsing University
National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) is a leading public research university in Taiwan with a history dating back to 1919, when it was founded as the Advanced Academy of Agronomy and Forestry in Taipei. After several reorganizations and expansions, the institution became a comprehensive university, bringing together agriculture, science and engineering, law and business, and the humanities. In 1971, it was officially renamed National Chung Hsing University and became a national university.
