The GASSHUKU Program with IIT-Guwahati brings together students from the University of Tsukuba and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati for a week of cultural exchange and collaborative learning from September 28 to October 3, 2025. Open to undergraduate and master’s students, the program focuses on real-world topics like food, health, sustainability, and community, featuring field experiences such as farmers’ markets and sustainable agriculture in Japan. Participants will form mixed Japan-India teams to develop creative proposals addressing shared challenges—with the most impactful ideas having the potential to be launched as real projects in Japan and India!
